About Houlihan Lawrence
Tradition. Quality. Excellence. These are the principles upon which the foundation of Houlihan Lawrence has been built.
A family-owned and operated business since its beginning in 1888, Houlihan Lawrence was borne from the 1980 merger of two of Westchester County’s forebears: William Lawrence, the founder of Sarah Lawrence College and one of the Southern Westchester’s original developers, and A.T. Houlihan Real Estate, which had served Northern Westchester since the 1950s.
Still headquartered in the building where William Lawrence started his business more than 120 years ago, Houlihan Lawrence has thrived and enjoyed unprecedented growth since it was acquired by Nancy Seaman & her family in 1990. Now joined by her brothers, Stephen & Christopher Meyers, the company is the largest independent residential real estate brokerage in Westchester, Dutchess & Putnam Counties.
Houlihan Lawrence is #1 in market share at every price point. Our 1,200 agents represent an unmatched channel for selling properties. We are a family organization, but we bring more resources to each and every deal than any other company in our market.
